This example uses your selected average shot length and 130 spoken words per minute. In a real production, image changes follow the script context. Narration is approximated at 6.4 characters per word. This calculation excludes character/thumbnail reference edits and stock licensing. Rates vary by model, resolution and retries. Rendering, storage, taxes and provider subscriptions are not included. The result is not a full-video quote or a guarantee of output quality.

Rates checked 11 September 2026: FLUX Schnell, FLUX.2 Pro, ElevenLabs.

07 / BEFORE YOU START

Before you request access.

What you can make, what you connect, and where you stay in control.

How does the channel learn from performance?

Track your channel and relevant competitors in Analytics & insights. Connect read-only YouTube Analytics or import a Studio CSV for private metrics. Fresh observations suggest experiments; approved guidance informs later ideas, titles and scripts while its evidence remains supported. No system can guarantee improved results.

Can I mix AI images, animation and stock footage?

Yes. Use scene-led images, camera movement, selected AI animation and reviewed Pexels footage in one timeline. Set a target stock share and choose suitable clips. Add particles, cinematic color, chapter titles and styled captions. Stock relevance and generated character consistency still need your review.

Is LongVid a YouTube automation tool?

Yes—LongVid helps automate the production work behind a YouTube channel: researching video references, developing ideas, writing scripts, generating scenes and voiceover, and assembling an editable timeline. You choose the direction and review the output. It does not promise views, income or automatic YouTube publishing.

How does early access work?

Submit the request form, then sign in with ChatGPT to link the request to your identity. Access is reviewed before your studio opens. Registration does not start a paid subscription. Approved creators connect their own AI provider accounts; usage charges from those providers are separate.

What can I make with LongVid Studio AI?

LongVid is an AI video production workspace for long-form YouTube creators. Develop documentaries, history videos, explainers and faceless series with research, scripts, scene images, narration and a timeline editor. Each production belongs to a channel with its own creative direction.

Can I make a 30-minute YouTube video?

Yes. Set a target length, plan an outline and write the script chapter by chapter. The scene planner groups the narration into visual beats, then you generate images and voiceover and assemble the edit. Final duration follows the recorded narration and timeline. Review sources and generated material before release.

Will the images actually follow my script?

The scene planner uses changes in the subject, action, place or idea to choose where a new image belongs. It preserves the narration and writes prompts for those passages. The shot-length setting is a pacing guide, not a rule to replace the image every ten seconds. You can review and change the scene plan.

Can I keep the same characters across videos?

Create recurring character profiles with appearance, wardrobe, historical setting and continuity rules. Approve a reference portrait and choose where that identity appears. Reference-guided generation helps preserve the look; you still review each result. Presenter shots use the selected scene image and finished narration.

What do I need before generating a video?

Connect your own text, image and narration accounts in the studio. LongVid currently uses OpenRouter, fal and ElevenLabs. Video assembly currently uses an operator-run render worker; downloadable cloud rendering for invited accounts is still in development. Studio access requires approval. Generating media uses the connected providers’ credits. Research connections are optional.

What does a video cost?

Usage depends on the script, image model, narration model, animation and retries. The calculator above estimates images and narration only. In the studio, review the remaining generation estimate and set a production allowance. Text generation, animation, rendering, storage, subscriptions and other charges are separate.

Does LongVid publish to YouTube automatically?

Direct YouTube publishing is not connected yet. You can plan release dates and render an MP4 through the configured worker, then review and upload it through your usual YouTube workflow.

Can I manage multiple channels or make sleep videos?

Each channel keeps separate productions, references, sources and style rules. Documentary and History for Sleep formats have their own writing pace, chapter structure and title preferences. Choose the format per production without rewriting the channel’s shared identity.
